One of my favorite things about senior sessions is the freedom to be creative for me and the seniors I’m photographing. I love changing locations, outfits and hairstyles. It’s like multiple shoots all wrapped into one fun energetic unforgettable Senior photo shoot. Imani was definitely a natural in front of the camera and beautiful inside and out. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to do this session for her and her family!
This beautiful senior has a very interesting story. Raised in Alaska but part Hawaiian she wanted to incorporate some Hawaiian props in her senior shoot. One was her ipu which is a musical instrument made from a hollowed gourd. She made this one herself while visiting for a camp when she was younger. Also, the white dress she's wearing is Hawaiian muumuu dress. And.....how cool is the name Romy?! I love it! She was such a pleasure to photograph!
